Ronald Clift, a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and a resident of Cement, Oklahoma, crosses a stream while searching for a navigation marker while validating land navigation points at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center near Yavoriv, Ukraine on Jan. 16. Clift was part of one of three teams from Company A who traversed knee to waist deep snow searching for points to verify their locations before units of the Ukrainian army arrive at the IPSC for training.
