Gansbaai is a fishing village in the Overberg District Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa. It is a popular tourist destination as it offers cage diving with Great White sharks(Carcharodon carcharias) as well as boat tours to Dyer Island for Southern right whale watching, Cape fur seal colony viewing and bird lovers get to see African Penguins and endangered Bank Cormorant and Roseate Tern.
