Heads of this variety are of medium size and as hard as a stone, even the smallest heads are sal- able on account of their so- lidity. This seed is of Dan- ish origin, and cabbage grown from this seed keeps well into the spring. The one main feature to guard against is not to let the heads freeze. Quality is superior to all other winter varieties. No market .gardener or family should be without this variety as it is uuquestionably the best.
