Inside the burial chamber of Tinkinswood Neolithic chambered long cairn, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, UK, looking E to the entrance (Rear L, the S side of the chamber is damaged). A Cotswold-Severn chambered tomb with a roughly rectangular long cairn aligned E-W. At around 40 tons, the massive capstone of the burial chamber is one of the largest in Britain. Along with pottery, the remains of around 50 individuals were found in the chamber: men, women & children including a newborn baby.
