Pre Roman and Roman site of the Oppidum of Nages, Gard France, inhabited from 8th century BC until 1st century AD, first by the Volques people and then the Romans. It's ideally situated on a hilltop above the Vaunages (Vallee de Nages) Valley, an area rich in archaeological sites between Nimes to the NW and Sommieres to the W.
