GROTON, Conn. (February 8, 2021) – The snow-covered Virginia-class submarine USS Indiana (SSN 789) is moored at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., Feb. 8. Indiana operates under Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) TWELVE whose mission is to provide attack submarines that are ready, willing, and able to meet the unique challenges of undersea combat in deployed operations and unforgiving environments across the globe.
