Rebalancing treatment. Woman receiving rebalancing therapy, a form of deep massage through which the body is said to recover its equilibrium. Rebalancing is also said to make the patient conscious of and able to release built-up inner tensions and emotions. The treatment begins with a body-reading procedure in which the therapist localises points of chronic tension and plans a suitable course of massage. The use of elbows in the massage is a typical feature of rebalancing.
