60-year-old Zamir Ali is harvesting tomatoes at a field in Bade Ali village Kandigao Union of Sylhet Sadar Upazila. He is a successful vegetable farmer. Throughout the year, he grows a variety of vegetables for his own consumption. He received the National Award in 1995 for his success in tomato cultivation. This year he has grown tomatoes on the land and expects to earn 5 lakh rupees. Sylhet, Bangladesh.
