Below these lines are portraits of thetwo Saxon electors, John the Firm andJohn Frederick the Magnanimous. Upon the rear of the cap-cube appearthese words from one of Lutherstracts: The gospel which the Lordgave into the mouth of the Apostles ishis sword with which as with a thunder-bolt he cleaveth the world.
