Mr. Johnson continued in the firm but a short time, and it wascarried on by Mr. De Wolf until May 1, 1894, when the present firm assumedcontrol. Both these gentlemen are natives of Connecticut, and utilize a doublestore 60x70 feet in dimensions, one side being devoted to the sale of groceriesand the other to meats, etc. The premises are well supplied with facilities forcarrying on a first-class business, three assistants being at hand to assurecustomers prompt and courteous treatment.
