210602-N-JW440-1035 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 2, 2021) Capt. Sharif Calfee, Commanding Officer of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67), Cmdr. Aaron Arky, the executive officer, and Lt. Cmdr. Ernesto Acosta, the Chief Engineering Officer, present the central control station (CCS) to Vice Adm. Bill Merz, Commander, 7th Fleet during an underway visit. CCS is the hub for engineering and damage control efforts aboard the ship. Shiloh is attached to Commander, Task Force 70/Carrier Strike Group 5 conducting underway operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
