Hklenium Grandi- cephalum Striatum. Gaillardia Grandiflora. One of the finest of hardy Perennials. Flowers large numerous, produced on long stems, and excellent for cut- ting ; of the most gorgeous coloring. Centre dark-red brown; petals variously marked with rings of scarlet crimson, orange and vermilion. It delights in a rather poor, light soil, and blooms in the greatest profusion from June to November. Strong one-year-old clumps, $ per doz.; $ per 100. 2} inch pots, that will flower freely this season, 60 cts. per doz.; $ per 100. Two New Giant Heliotropes. The two varieties listed below are what is known as the Bruant type, being characterized by very large individual florets and immense sprays of bloom, which frequently measure 10 to 12 inches across, and are grand additions to this family. Czar. A vigorous grower, with dark stiff stems carrying enormous trusses of bloom of an intense deep violet with white eye. Czarina. Strong robust stems and extremely large trusses of extra sized flowers of deep indigo blue with white eye. 20 cts. each ; $ per dozen. Helemum Grandicephalum Striatum. A most interestingly old hardy plant that appears to have been lost from cultivation for a long time, has only recently been re-introduced, and is one of our most de- sirable perennial plants.
