The vine resembles the Boysenberry very closely and is cultivated in the same way. The difference being in the increased production, larger size of the berry, resistance to cold and disease. The fruit is firmer than Boysenberry, contains less acid, but higher sugar content and edible quality. Tests prove its superiority over the other types of Blackberries for freezing as it holds the natural flavor to a remarkable degree. Here at Bountiful Ridge, we feel it will prove a valuable addition to your present list of small fruits and recommend it for trial in all sections.
