Loch Insh Kincraig
The area is renowned for its splendid views and tranquil settings, around Loch Insh, the remoteness of Glen Feshie and the Lochans. The main attractions around Kincraig are the Highland Wildlife Park, Loch Insh Watersports and the RSPB Insh Marshes Nature Reserve. The area is steeped in history and mythology, with Ruthven Barracks on the B970, Alvie & Insh Churches within Kincraig and on the road to Aviemore. Kincraig is easily accessed from the A9. The rural atmosphere of the village, from the general store, pub and tea rooms to alpine gardens, wildlife park, hunting, shooting, fishing, skiing, gliding and watersports, has been described as Spey Valley's best kept secret.
