Washing a new rug to shrink it in a specially constructed dam in Csikdanfalva village in Trasylvania Romania

This unusual washing machine is built in to the river and is used to shrink newly made rugs and wash dirty ones. This is a small business and is part of a traditional rug making cottage industry. The washing machine is the only one in the area. Cloths are also washed her but that is not its main purpose
