LaVor Hancey,Woods Cross, Utah, all labouring inAuckland District, organized to singat a funeral last September. For thenext few months they sang at severalfunerals and before long were sing-ing at branch and district functions. The event that influenced them tocontinue their quartette was the requestthat they sing for the MIA-Maticplay at the Mutual Improvement As-sociation leadership meeting on De-cember 4th, at which they sang songsfrom the Recreational Song Book. One of the purposes of continuing tosing together was to show the value of using the blue Mymn book.
