In most respects they will beidentical with the cars now in use. The oneimportant exception is in the platform vestibules and platforms of the new carswill be 6 ft. 6 ins. long, and will have a railing in the center of the steps, whichwill have 54-in. x 8-in. treads. This will give the cars a lengthover vestibules of 57 ft. 11 yA ins., and a total length over.
