Hagia Sophia is a former Greek Orthodox patriarchal basilica (church), later an imperial mosque, and now a museum in Istanbul, Turkey. The church was built in 537. The building become mosque in 1453. In 1931 Hagia Sophia was a museum. This landmark is very popular among tourists.
