Half-round, three sectioned facing side outstandingly hammered in high relief with mascarons, dolphins, a lion's head, an armoured warrior with a coat of arms (fish with three lilies) as well as dragons and tendrils on chape and mouth. Flat reverse with an etched decoration of trophies and flowers, riveted rectangular carrying ring. Somewhat worm-damaged wooden insert.
