Perennial English Perennial Rye Grass. 13 held in high esteem for pasturage, soiling and the formation of lawns; in habit somewhat like Orchard Grass; and it is possible that united on the same meadow, it would be profitable. It ripens early and should be cut when in blossom, mak- ing a large return of very nutritious hay, of which stock is very fond. Is naturally adapted to a variety of soils, but succeeds best on moderately moist land. In a choice mixture for per- manent pasture, it would form a valuable adjunct. Sow tity pounds to the acre. It grows very rapidly, and yields very large crops on favorable soils. It can never be used effectu- ally as a pasture grass. It will take from twelve to fifteen pounds per acre. Lb., 10c.; 100 lbs., $ Red Top [Agrostis vulgaris). A valuable grass for moi
