This has proved to be an excellent keeper of finest flavor, hand- some shape and enormous size, many single on- ions have been raised to weight 3 lbs., from seed the first year. It is of the same type as those immense imported onions which can be seen in fruit stores and always command a very high price. The Prize Taker grows al- ways to a perfect globe shape, with bright, straw-colored skin, the necks are very small ind the onin alwavs ripens up hard.
