In 1978 cross-border initiative was developed bringing together wildlife conservation groups, governmental agencies, land owners and hunting association’s tackling illegal poisoning. This year sees a record number of 95 breeding pairs across the Eastern Rhodope mountains resulting in hatching 72 young chicks.
