A stained glass window by Herbert Bryans depicting Saint Cecilia holding and organ, St Andrews Church, Letheringsett, Norfolk
Herbert Bryans' (1855-1925) work is very reminiscent of Charles Eamer Kempe's and is very much in the Kemp Studios style. This is not surprising as before Bryans set up his own studio he was one of the Kempe Studios artists. The windows in St Andrews Church Letheringsett, near Holt, Norfolk display all the hallmarks of his work with heavy use of silver stain and fine figurative depictions which are straight from the Arts and Crafts era in England.
