A newborn male gorilla is seen with his mother 'Buu' inside their enclosure at Bioparc Fuengirola, . The birth of this male gorilla during the night of 7 November, supposes a landmark for the preservation of gorillas in Andalusia outside their natural habitats. Since 2004, Bioparc Fuengirola forms part of the European program for the conservation of gorillas after to accept a breeding group of gorillas. At present, Bioparc has four adult gorillas (of them, three females named Kim, Wefa, Buu and one male named Eco).
