The Flaming Cliffs in Mongolia's Gobi Desert are so called because of their red colouring. The area is famous for the discovery of dinosaur eggs and abounds with dinosaur bones. The young woma in the photo, dressed in summer clothing, was fossicking for dinosaur bones as she walked along a dirt path through the cliffs.
