A particular “manatee magnet” is Theo Grant who attracts the curious marine mammals – nicknamed sea cows – by pretending to be manatees. Theo is so successful at this that several of the lady manatees are in love with him, according to his wife, US photographer Carol Grant (57), who took the pictures of the quirky friendship at Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Florida.
