The metal work and the new stationbuilding were then completed without interference with trainservice. To make this change at each station required about60 days. Changes of Alignment on Curves. East of Prairie avenue a new curved structure was builtand the old one abandoned. In carrying out this all the work possiljle in constructing foundations and erecting the steelwas done before the old structure was disturbed.
