Cawfields in Northumberland


Cawfields in Northumberland is the location of a former quarry which obliterated part of Hadrian's Wall. A small lake and woodland now occupies the former quarry excavations. The remains of the Roman wall now runs up to the summit of the rock face in the centre of the image.
