TaylorAug. 8, 1886. This position he credit-ably filled till Jan. 21, 1900, when theWard was reorganized,and he was hon-orably released. Elder Dansie has re-sided in Utah since 1862. JENSEN, Jens Peter, Bishop ofCrescent Ward (Jordan Stake), SaltLake county, Utah, is the son of SorenJensen and Nielsine Christine Neucuib-ing, and was born June 16, 1859, in Tom-merby parish, Thisted amt, 1878 he was baptized into the Churchby Elder Jens Christensen. He was. ordained an Elder and sent out tolabor as a local missionary. In June,1879, he emigrated to Utah, and locatedin Draper, Salt Lake county. When the CrescentWard was organized in 1895, he waschosen to preside as Bishop, and heis still laboring in that capacity. NELSON, Nels August, a HighCouncilor in the Jordan Stake of Zion,is the son of John and Annetta Nelson,and was born May 8, 1857, at Eringa,Hallands Ian, Sweden. With his parentshe emigrated to Utah in 1864. He wasbaptized May 5, 1865, by Niels Mickel-sen; ordained a Deacon in 1870 by NielsHansen; ordained a Teacher in 1873; or-dained an Elder Dec. 31, 1883, by NephiHoward; ordained a Seventy Feb. 20,1887, by
