Mexican Archaeological lab assistant cleans an 8th Century AD pot after fastening the sections with glue

An archaeological assistant at a dig site in Oaxaca Mexico restores an 8th cenury ceramic vessel that has been reconstructed and glued together. Mesoamerican artifacts from Oaxaca's Zapotec culture include tomb offerings often found intact or in a rebuildable state. These become part of Mexico's ongoing archaeological research and go to museums for study and display.
