Louise Stanley (1883-1954), US chemist and nutritionist. Stanley obtained her doctorate from Yale University. She was a professor of home economics at the University of Missouri from 1907 to 1923. She then moved to Washington DC where she was the Chief of the Bureau of Home Economics at the US Department of Agriculture from 1923 to 1943.
