He settled at Royalston, after residingfor a time at Reading. He was of Reading whenhe bought his farm. November 7, 1783. of ThomasBrown, of Reading, for one hundred and liftypounds (lot No. 84, consisting of ninety-two andone-half acres). He deeded this same farm to hisson Benjamin, Jr. just before his death, January6, 1827. He died in November or December, 1830,at Royalston.
