Newton . William Blake's Newton (1795), colour print with pen & ink and watercolour. Blake's picture of Newton as a divine geometer was one of a series he created whilst living in Lambeth in the late 1790s. Blake's printing appears to have been a form of self-developed monoprint which he then finished with additions in pen and ink coupled with watercolour washes. circa 1804-05. 924 Newton-WilliamBlake
