There is one aspect of Christ church andchurchyard that lies quite beyond the imaginationof those who journey thither only in reserves a splendor of its ow^n for Christchurchyard. The immaculate veil which naturedraws by stealth across the view adds a sense ofmystery in concealment. Of a winters night,when the moon rides the heavens, her beamstransfigure the homely old church, which seems tolook down upon the mantled graves in an attitudeof majestic Photo by W. H.
