Wild lupines growing on the top of an old tree stump, Mussel Creek, mid-coast British Columbia

In the spring the estuaries in the Great Bear Rainforest have lush sedge grass meadows that are food for the many grizzlies that live in the area. Wild flowers bloom prolifically, including these wild lupines that can often be seen growing on the top of old tree stumps.
