Conwy Castle / Castell Conwy / Conway Castle is a medieval fort on the north coast of Wales built by Edward I from 1283 to 1289 when creating the walled town of Conwy. UNESCO considers Conwy to be one of "the finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe", and it is classed as a World Heritage site. Wikipedia.
