We advise all who contemplate making a new lawn, or renei.\dng the old, to do the work this Fall, as the grass will become well established before freezing weather, and start a luxuriant growth with the warmth of early Spring. Quantity of Lawn Grass Seed to Sow. One quart is sufficient for 200 square feet; 6 bushels for an acre, or for renovating an old lawn use one-half these quantities. The 'Dreer' Lawn Grass This is by far our best mixture of grasses offered for the pur- pose of quickly producing a permanent lawn. It is prepared from our own formula, and is a careful blending of varieties adapted to producing the thick growth and velvety appearance so much sought after. Each variety of grass in its composition is there for a special purpose; some for making strong fibrous roots, which take hold upon the soil and keep the turf in place, others of a creeping nature quickly fill up any bare spots which may be caused by the taller sorts dying down; varieties which are useful for their color value, and also kinds that are able to withstand the beating down of excessive rains.
