Frassica, , Instructor in DentistryDirector of Dental Anesthesia Department Description The Pain Control Unit is responsible for thepredoctoral and postdoctoral teaching of painand anxiety management, anaesthesiology,clinical pharmacology and emergencymedicine. Teaching is provided to predoctoralstudents throughout the curriculum. The unitis particularly concerned with coordinatingbasic didactic instruction with preclinical andclinical instruction. The relevance of the basicprinciples of biochemistry, pharmacology,microbiology and anatomy are illustrated andemphasized throughout the pain controlteaching.
