Soldiers from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 109th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team cover each other as the rest of the squad move into position during squad movement and room clearing drills on Aug. 2, 2021 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. Each squad had to conquer a series of challenges, including navigating under barbed wire, moving to cover, deploying smoke and reacting to indirect fire.
