Sandy Nicholl of SOAS Unison speaks at the protest demanding the reinstatement of sacked Ecuadorian cleaner Alba, a 62-year old who is one of the longest serving members of the cleaning team at the London School of Economics outside the LSE Kingsway building where cleaning contractors Noonan have their office. He spoke of the long struggle for justice for cleaners at SOAS and urged all at the LSE to fight for the rights of workers there, pointing out that the LSE was a very wealthy institution with a worldwide reputation which would be seriously damaged by mistreating its staff.
