Workers for Skanska construction pose at the opening of a new subway entrance

Workers for Skanska construction pose at the opening of the new subway entrance on 135 William Street, for the Fulton Street Transit Center in Lower Manhattan in New York, on Monday, August 1, 2011. As part of the reconfiguring of the transportation for Lower Manhattan the new station will end the inconvenience to transit customers by adding additional access to the Fulton Street station. The new entrance features the reinstallation of a restored terra-cotta mural and iron gate salvaged from the Marine Grill in the McAlpin Hotel (© Richard B. Levine)
