A table globe, Nuremberg, dated 1747 Hollow wrought, the entire surface applied with paper, the map finely copper engraved, the country borders partly coloured by hand. Two cartouches in baroque script with maker designation "Hommanian Hered - Norimb. 1747". Brass ring with engraved degree graduation. Original, wooden stand with finely turned columns, paperboard appliqué with a fine copper-engraved scale on the upper side. Height 21 cm, globe diameter 13 cm.
