The work of the Council For the Encouragement of Music and the Arts- the Old Vic Travelling Theatre Company, Wales, 1941 The Old Vic Travelling Theatre Company have arrived in Trealaw, and begin setting up the stage at the Settlement Hall, their venue for the evening. However, Settlement Hall is also used as a Feeding Centre, so women and children can be seen eating a meal in the foreground, as the stagehands set up behind them.
