Air Force Senior Airman James Bickers runs to provide cover fire at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Oct. 24, 2013. Bickers is assigned to the 729th Air Control Squadron who are currently in a mock deployment "Operation Raging Bull 14-1" which will help prepare the Airmen for future deployments. The deployment is held to help the Airmen from setting up a base, to defense techniques and holding off enemy forces, all while still conducting their primary mission: being the eyes and ears over a combat theater. The squadron is only one of three active duty air control squadrons in the Air Force.
