Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. 9th September, 2015. Stage four of the Aviva Tour of Britain passes through Edinburgh racing through East Lothian borders and on towards Blyth. Starting in Holyrood Park the cycle race travels by the Scottish Parliament before continuing on towards the royal mile. The route will take the cyclists through some of the capitals famous landmarks and then head on towards Blyth at a total distance of Mark Cavendish (Etixx-quickstep), Credit: Andrew Steven Graham/Alamy Live News


Racing up the cobblestones of the Royal Mile pass the St Gyles Cathedral. The racers were tightly packed on the first section of the race. Fernando Gaviria racing for Etixx-Quickstep later went on to win the stage.
