More than a decade has passed since the white-faced ladies came to thiscity and began their work. Many of the Chinese women have been won tolisten, and accept the precious truth. There are now ten or more womenwho sit with us in our Sabbath-day services who have been followers of theway for nearly as many years, and their spiritual life has been steadily un-folding. Most of this group of Christian women, as well as those of shorterexperience, have learned the joy of giving the truth to others less favored,and have shared the work of spending an hour or two every day in thewomans waiting-room of the dispensary, talking with the patients there ofthe true God and of his Word. This has been wholly their work, though ithas been guided by one of the missionaries. There have not been so manywomen coming for treatment as in some previous years, but those who attendthe daily clinics have listened to the gospel. We have had no
