GULF (Nov. 6, 2016) Seaman Albert Beckford, from New York, prepares bacon in the aft galley of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Beckford serves aboard Ike as a culinary specialist and helps prepare meals for Ike's crew. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
