Temperatures in the mid 20 degrees centigrade and frequent showers have helped rapid growth of the plants. The crop also known as Flax has a striking blue flower. Flax is grown for use as an edible oil, as a nutritional supplement, and as an ingredient in many wood finishing products. Flax is also grown as an ornamental plant in gardens.
