Caleb Strong, lieutenant of a company in the FifthRegiment of Infantry, Second Brigade, Fourth Division, ofMassachusetts Volunteer Militia, and on the 17th of May,1804, he was promoted to be captain. In 1815, he wasappointed overseer of the U.
