On August 1, 1918, the contract was awarded to the Canadian WestinghouseCompany for one 600-kv-a., single-phase, 60-cycle, water-cooled, transformer to beinstalled as a spare in this station. This transformer was tested by one of theCommissions engineers at the Canadian Westinghouse Companys factors onFebruan, 26th, and was shipped on April 29th.
